Center adds second Bill Cosby performance

Carmel (September 20, 2011) – The Center for the Performing Arts today announced a second performance by legendary comedian Bill Cosby. Tickets for the April 15, 2012 matinee performance at the Palladium are on sale today at www.TheCenterForThePerformingArts.org. Tickets are available at the Palladium box office and by phone at 317-843-3800.

The previously announced April 15 evening Cosby performance, sponsored by Indianapolis-based Baldwin and Lyons, Inc., has sold-out. Single and subscription tickets for the 2011-12 season presented by St.Vincent Health have sold over $2.4 million, representing six series and special performances. Single tickets went on sale August 8. Series subscriptions went on sale in May.

The Center for the Performing Arts, in Carmel City Center, includes the 1,600-seat Palladium concert hall, the Tarkington 500-seat proscenium theater and the 200-seat Studio Theater. The Center is a permanent fixture on the Central Indiana landscape and will provide an extraordinary listening experience for audiences. The concert hall is also home to Michael Feinstein’s Great American Songbook Collection, acting as a museum and education center by day and a concert venue by night.
