Home school All Access field trip, sponsored by Software Engineering Professionals, coming in February

Students, families must purchase by Feb. 7 for field trip

Carmel (January 14, 2014) – The Center for the Performing Arts presents a special day for home school families on Friday, Feb. 28. The theatre experience provides families a performance in the Studio Theater with the dynamic, interactive family show “BLUE! THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA.” It’s the ultimate interactive theatre experience, featuring the Italian company Teatro Di Piazza. The unique theatre environment will explore the thin line between art and play. In “Blue,” dancers, performers and audience members mix and mingle as they embark on an adventurous trip to the Mediterranean.

In addition to the matinee, home school students are invited to a sound & light presentation in the Palladium concert hall, offered by the Center’s production department. Families will take a self-guided tour of the Great American Songbook Gallery & Archive. Students and families are invited to bring their sack lunches and eat in the Palladium’s Robert Adam Room.

Families interested in the matinee, plus the All Access field trip experience in the Palladium and Studio Theater, must purchase tickets by Friday, Feb. 7. Buy tickets at the Palladium box office or by phone at 317-843-3800. Tickets are $15/adult, $8/child 12 and under. When purchasing please specify “Home School All Access” for space in the Palladium presentation. Families interested in a matinee-only option may purchase any time.
